Refund & Billing Policy

Pricing
What you pay and when
Every price is shown at checkout before you pay: the amount charged today, the trial length and included searches for trial plans, the monthly price your plan converts to, and how to cancel. Charges are in USD; taxes may apply.
Trials
How trial plans renew
Trial plans convert automatically to the monthly membership shown at checkout unless you cancel from your account before 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the last day of your trial. Unused trial searches do not carry into the paid membership.
Automatic renewal
When memberships renew
Memberships renew automatically at the same price and interval disclosed at checkout until you cancel. Your checkout authorization covers each recurring charge.
Cancellation
How to cancel
Cancel anytime from your account. Canceling stops future charges, and you keep full access through the end of your current paid period. Not using the service does not cancel a membership.
Delivery
When a search is delivered
A search is delivered when its results first load. Each search incurs immediate data costs the moment it runs.
Refunds
When we can refund a purchase
Because searches incur costs the moment they run, we cannot refund a trial fee or billing period once a search has run in it. Memberships are prepaid per billing period and non-refundable once the period starts, with no proration. One-time purchases are non-refundable once the search has run.
If something actually went wrong, we fix it. For a technical failure, duplicate charge, or billing error, email support@whothis.com and we'll make it right. Other requests are reviewed case by case.
Chargebacks
Chargebacks are not refund requests
A chargeback is a bank process for unauthorized transactions. If a charge looks wrong, contact us first — most issues resolve within one business day. Once a payment enters a formal bank dispute, we cannot refund that transaction directly, we respond to the dispute with our records (checkout authorization, disclosure text, search-delivery logs), and the account may be suspended while the dispute is open.
